Jalen Hurts leaves Super Bowl defeat in the rearview mirror and turning it into motivation for a spectacular c
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts had a rollercoaster season last year, culminating in the disappointment of Super Bowl LVII. However, the 24-year-old is determined to leave the past behind and focus on the future. In a media interview on Thursday, Hurts expressed his mindset of moving forward.
"Thinking about it holistically, last year is over," Hurts stated, as reported by NFL.com. "Anything that we were able to do last year... nothing that's been done prior will get us to where we want to be now."
Despite the desire to turn the page, Hurts acknowledged the valuable lessons he gained from his impressive 2022 campaign, where he emerged as an MVP candidate: "We definitely documented and deposited a ton of experiences in the bank to learn from-and we will learn from and have learned from-but it's a day-by-day thing," Hurts shared. "It's the truth."
