Charles Omenihu will play in the NFC Championship despite domestic violence suspicion arrest

The San Francisco 49ers are counting on having defensive lineman Charles Omenihu available to play on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship, as his legal process continues following his arrest on a misdemeanor domestic violence allegations.

The NFL is currently investigating the matter under their personal conduct policy, but until that's completed, Omenihu is free to play.

According to the San Jose police report, a woman claiming to be Omenihu's girlfriend accused him of pushing her to the ground during an argument, therefore the player was arrested and released shortly after posting bail.
